Create New Members
System administrators create new members in the Membership module which then invites the new member via email to sign up.
Create a new member:

Access the Membership module and select the New button.
A dialog box appears.

Enter Member Info:

First Name and Last Name of the member are required. Middle Name is optional.

Email: The email address associated with the member and the address to which the invite email is sent to complete the sign-up process

Repair Center: The repair center associated with the member

Enter Access Info:

Access Group: Defines the modules, features, and capabilities that are available to members of that group; in addition to determining access to Maintenance Connection applications and features, the access group also defines specific permissions, such as the ability to approve work orders and the ability to delete records

Applications : The applications that will be available to the user at sign-in
A default value will be populated based on the access group you chose, but this value can be overwritten. Application options include:

MGR: Gives access to all system applications (MRO, Service Requester, Technician Work Center, Reporter, and MC Express)

MGRD: Takes the user directly to the MRO Work Center, without having to select an application.

R: Service Requester only

RPT: Reporter and MC Express

TWC: Technician Work Center and MC Express

TWCRPT: Technician Work Center, Reporter, and MC Express

DASH: KPI Dashboard and MC Express
Access to MC Express is contingent upon your license agreement. Application settings for concurrent licensing differ slightly from the named licensing model reflected here.

Session Timeout (in minutes): Indicates the number of minutes that should be allowed to pass without interaction with the system before the member is timed out of their login session; if this field is set to 0, the system default value for the organization will be used; the maximum timeout for a session is 99,999 minutes, roughly equivalent to 2 months.

Enter an Email Message if desired.
You can add your own message to the invite email in this field. The invite email includes generic messaging about accessing Maintenance Connection along with a link to complete the sign-up process.

Select an Integration Info option:

Create a new Labor or Requester record for this Member- creates a new labor or requester record associated with this member

Link this Member to an existing Labor or Requester record- links this member to an existing labor or requester record

Click Email.
The new member is created and an invite email is sent to the address entered.
